Return to Hollywood's Golden Era in Oakland's historic Art Deco movie palace.

Pre-movie entertainment begins 30 minutes after doors open with an organ serenade on Paramount's Mighty Wurlitzer Opus 2164 fully restored in 2022.

All Movie Classics tickets are $10.00 per person, includes $4.00 restoration fee. All ages require a ticket, no children under 2 years.

There is a full service bar offering beverages, popcorn, and other movie snacks. Bar typically closes during the first half of the main feature. All snacks and drinks from bar are permitted in the auditorium. No outside food or drink allowed inside theatre.

We also encourage guests to take public transportaion. The theatre is close to several major public transit stops. 

  • Take BART to the 19th Street Oakland Station. Exit at the 20th Street / Broadway Exit. The theatre is about a 5 minute walk from the station at 2025 Broadway.
  • Plan a trip to the Paramount via public transportation and find transit routes and services here.
