Accessible Seating

Our Box Office staff is available to assist you in acquiring seating that best meets your individual needs. There are wheelchair accessible locations, as well as semi-ambulatory seats with movable armrests for those who would like to transfer into the seat. These seats are located in the Orchestra Front and Orchestra Rear sections on the main floor. The Paramount Theatre does not provide wheelchairs. Please note, there is no elevator in the Paramount Theatre. To speak to our Box Office staff regarding accessible seats, please call 510-465-6400 during open hours on Fridays between 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. If you call outside of our open hours, please leave a mesage and we will return your call.

Accessible seating is available for purchase in person at our Box Office and online through Ticketmaster.com. On Ticketmaster accessible seats are designated with a wheelchair icon. Hover over the icon to view seat type.

For more information, please visit Ticketmaster's page on Accessible Seating Tickets.

Mobile Entry

To minimize contact between guests and staff; and to expedite the entry process, the Paramount Theatre has switched to mobile entry for all it's events. Mobile Entry is the easiest and safest way to access tickets - with mobile entry your smartphone is your ticket.

For mobile entry tickets, you will only be able to access your tickets on your smartphone.  They will not be available to print from your online account, nor can they be emailed to you. For added security, the scannable barcode or QR code will not appear on the mobile ticket until the day of the event. A screen shot of a mobile ticket will not scan for entry.

For additional information and instructions on how to view your tickets, please visit the Mobile Entry page on Ticketmaster.

Accepted Methods Of Payment

The Paramount Theatre no longer accepts CASH. ALL points of sale: the Box Office, bars and merchandise will be cashless.

The Box Office accepts debit or credit cards with proper photo identification. We take Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as well as mobile payments using Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Authorized Ticket Sales

For all Paramount Theatre events, customers are advised to purchase their tickets through the venues’ authorized ticket sellers: Ticketmaster.com and the Paramount Theatre Box Office.

The Paramount Theatre cannot guarantee tickets which are purchased through a secondary market site and will not honor, exchange, or refund counterfeit, duplicate or invalid tickets.

Due to the popularity of events, ticket buyers often find tickets available through secondary ticket sites or brokers. Paramount Theatre strongly cautions buyers against purchasing through these sites. Tickets purchased through third-party sources are not guaranteed, often cannot be authenticated and can be substantially more expensive than the original ticket price. Paramount Theatre cannot prevent these agencies from buying tickets, and laws governing ticket brokers (and how much they can charge for tickets) vary greatly from state-to-state.

Ticket brokers have been known to launch websites claiming they are associated with the theatre, event or artist in order to confuse ticket buyers. The only way that patrons can ensure that they are purchasing legitimate tickets is to purchase from Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Paramount Theatre Box Office. When in doubt, customers can verify the purchasing link by searching for the show on our website, paramountoakland.org. Each event page on our site has a link to the official ticketing site and/or artist website.

For Authorized Ticket Sales:

  • Visit Ticketmaster.com OR
  • Visit the Paramount Theatre Box Office at 2025 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94612 on Fridays, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Please check our schedule for Box Office Closures.

Please Note

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Tickets are for personal use only, NOT for resale.

For Box Office inquires please call: 510-465-6400. The Paramount Theatre does not offer phone sales for event tickets.
