We are proud to announce that the Paramount Theatre's original Mighty Wurlitzer Opus 2164 has returned home. It has been restored to its original splendor and its history will be preserved along with the theatre.
Our very own restorationist and art curator, David Boysel is now featured in SFGATE. David's wonderful work is seen by the general public during every event and tour, but it's thrilling to have his tremendous effort in the spotlight for everyone to see.

On April 27, 2022 the Paramount Theatre was honored with the Governor's Historic Preservation Award for our Facade Restoration project. These awards are bestowed annually, under the sponsorship of the California State Parks and the Office of Historic Preservation, to organizations and individuals whose contributions demonstrate outstanding commitment to excellence in historic preservation.
